In the 1960's in return for a small allowance, my parents rotated the five children through household chores: bathrooms, kitchen, laundry, and grounds.  I also changed our chevy wagon's oil and cross-switched the tires, helped repaint the upstairs bathroom, and the exteriors of our house and garage and cared for our german shepherd, "Silver Rex of Franconia Crest". In the late 1960's I started work delivering pennysavers, mowing lawns and babysitting in my Queens, New York neighborhood.  In the early 1970's I worked while attending Stuyvesant High School in Manhattan as a cashier, courier and marketing intern.  Later in the  1970's I worked while an MIT undergraduate doing dining service, internships, social & cognitive science research, and sales.  In the 1980's I started working professionally as a programmer at a Boston management consulting firm supporting a Time Analysis + Billing System (TABS).   From there on I mostly consulted, accepting assignments, programming projects and support positions in business, education, finance, government, law and medicine.   Recently I returned to my native New York to help reorganize the Port Washington Twin Pines Food Coop & Charitable Thrift.   Below is a list of links to my experiences.  Please let me know if you find anything interesting?  tom.e.turner at gmail.com
